THE CAMPAIGN'S 3 STRATEGIES TO DEAL WITH THIS CRISIS ARE:
STRATEGY # 1 concerns the Roles, Rights, Responsibilities and Power Options of the family and community to ensure our children:
A) are properly socialized at home and receive a liberating, quality and equitable cultural education within the family unit and community;
B) acquire spiritual understanding and technical skills-based education in the community;
C) receive a quality and equitable education which ensures they are prepared to graduate, meet higher education standards and the entrepreneurial work demands of the 21st Century. WWW.PARENTSTUDENTUNION.COM
STRATEGY # 2 focuses on Identifying, Supporting, Promoting and sustaining Best Social, Academic and Career Practice Students, ClassroomTeachers, Schools and family support systems, www.familyempowermentstudentachievement.com
STRATEGY # 3 is aimed at Advocating in public policy arenas which influence the lives of our children and youth, and Holding The System Accountable for the Federal, State and Community outcomes expected. www.africaneducationparty.com
WHEN WE ARE SUCCESSFUL AT CREATING SYSTEMIC CHANGE, the indicators listed below will serve as evidence of our accomplishments and the success of our children:
- More social and enhanced survival and success skills
- A heightened sense of history and self
- Better grades and higher test scores
- A larger group of African American graduates prepared for higher education, entrepreneurship and the current and future workforce
EXPECTED OUTCOMES:
The Campaign will foster
A) Positive attitudes about social and academic achievement;
B) Consistent and enthusiastic participation in school;
C) Commitment to meeting and exceeding educational standards;
D) Increased social polish and improved cultural navigational skills;
E) A heightened sense of history, community and self-worth.
CAMPAIGN PARTNERS IMPACT:
A) Schools that are more focused on student learning and success;
B) Higher proportions of qualified, motivated and successful teachers in our schools:
C) Increased enrollment, passing of rigorous courses and graduation;
D) Increased access to and involvement in positive youth development programs.
In short, the Campaign for African American Achievement
will help rejuvenate the Community, raise the social and achievement levels of
our children and prepare them to meet the demands of the 21st Century.
